Check out this cute apron that I made for my Mom for her birthday! She loved it. I love the pink and brown together!

Follow this link here to make a Kitchen Aid cover. The first one is for a sister, but I had to improvise with the material because it wasn't long enough. After I cut out the patterns, I realized that it wasn't long enough (add 4.5 inches on the rectangle AND the bottoms of the edges to make it long enough for a Kitchen Aid) Other than the improvised parts (although I LOVE the ruffle and HUGE ric rac on mine) I don't think they look half bad! :)

Motivation

Jakobi's Christmas stockings got to motivated to at least start my levi stockings that I have had all the materials gathered for for almost a year now. Growing up my mom had made all of us the cutest levi stockings and I always swore I would make them for my family. Having stole my stocking as a pattern I came up with this one today, I really should go whip out another one, but we wouldn't want my WIP (Work in Progress) pile to actually have a dent in it would we???

it's about time for another post

I didn't buy anything for them either!
I just used what I had
I pretty much copied the idea from a cheep dollar store stocking using much better colors!

I am pretty impressed myself... what do you think...are you proud!?!?

now I just need to wait till chad buys the hooks so I can hang them!

Long time reader...first time poster

Hi there girls! I thought I would share the Mother's Day presents I made for my mom and mother-in-law. (Altered Altoid Tins) Many thanks to Korbi for her very helpful tutorial.

I decided not to make an accordion album inside the tin so that the grandmas could add pictures and trinkets continually. It was such a fun project. Thanks again for the help Korbi!

This one threw me for a loop...

The design was in my head, but I was really curious to see how it would turn out.... The colors in the pics don't seem true, It's charcoal black, cream, burnt orange, and teal.

My sister Jakobi had an enrichment where they put together all these vinyl signs, she painted my board for me then sent me the words. I picked out my own paper and I finally got around to finishing a bunch of projects yesterday....

It's a little blurry, but it's a baby formula can with a hole in the top to put large buttons in for babies to play with....

Curtains

Do you know how hard it is to find curtains that are actually what you want!? It is either really expensive, not the right color, or there is only one left.
So I set out to make the curtains.
From there it was the same thing, material was more expensive than what an actual curtain should cost, not exactly what I was looking for, or not enough to make two whole curtains.
So this is what I did: I bought two white curtains and Target and sewed a blue strip at the bottom. All in all I think it turned out pretty good and Jax now has curtains!

Profile

Okay I am going to post these pics anyways, but I stole the idea off a blog and I can't remember where! Yikes! There was a really good tutorial and when I find it I will let you know! Sorry to whoever's blog it was, it was a link off of Crafty Jill and I feel like I've gone through all of her links and I CAN'T find it! Frustrating! But anyways, this was way easy and I am going to track down that tutorial and post credit where credit is due....

Infant Carrier Covers

My latest projects...

This one is for Parker T.

This one is a gift for one of Troy's nieces that just had a little boy.

Today when I left the house with this over Parker, I fell in LOVE with having this cover over him! I am usually fighting with the blanket trying to keep it on and then struggling to hold on to Taylor that this thing made it a breeze!

2 Dresses & a Tie

I made these cute dresses for Taylor and a little tie for Parker.

I have started loving sewing so much that I would rather do that then make bows?!?!?!
It's kind of my time "away from kids" even though they are usually in the room (basement) with me while I am sewing, but they manage to always be fairly well behaved and stay out of trouble.

They must know Mommy needs some time.....
